Are you a newbie computer user? These free tutorials will teach you the basics of how to use your computer.

These were created by the Newbie Club , a company that creates the most helpful and easy to understand information for new computer users that I've seen yet. I'm still working my way through some of these myself. Take heart, you don't need to learn everything all at once! These are created for PC owners. (Unfortunately they don't have a MacIntosh version yet.) Here are some examples:

File Types Page About file extensions, .exe, .gif, .jpg, .doc and more. Newbie-speak insight into a befuddling topic.

Wallpaper Wonders Page Newbie computer tips on how to change wallpaper, customize the appearance of your desktop, and pick up any graphic from anywhere for your own use.

Automation Page Newbie computer tips on how to automate tasks your computer performs so you don't have spend time "baby sitting" it!

Bits and Bytes Page Newbie computer tips to understanding file size, and how it affects downloading and storage.

Email Insight Page What is Spam, show to stop Spam, and more!

Credit Cards Page What it takes to accept credit cards on the Net along with safety information.

Domain Registration Page What does it take to register a domain name? Techie-speak topic distilled into Newbie-speak language.

The Newbie Computer Discussion Board is a great forum to get your newbie computer and internet questions answered.Impressive stuff!
